The Band
It takes teamwork to put together this show. It's a passion project for all involved and everyone's role extends beyond what you see on stage.
RAY
Vocals & Band Leader
Ray started The Wall of Floyd over 20 years ago and, with untiring energy and commitment, has built the band into one of the most respected Pink Floyd tributes in the UK.
As well as voicing many of your favourite Floyd songs in our show, you may get a momentary glimpse of his considerable chops as a drummer.
CALUM
Guitars
Calum joined The Wall of Floyd in 2017 and has become a 'tour de force' in the band. He effortlessly channels the finesse and nuance of David Gilmour's playing of all eras.
Calum's been playing guitar since he was 12 has been gigging since he was 15. As well as having an incredible ear, he studied music, firstly at Southdowns College in Portsmouth and then BIMM in Brighton.
Since 2013, Calum has also done regular major European gigs and tours.
ALAN
Vocals & Guitar
Our resident Scot, Alan manages to switch between the vocal styles of Roger and David with ease and shares guitar duties with Calum (who also happens to be his son).
Al's played guitar as long as he can remember "and singing even longer". He's been in bands since he was 17 and has been fronting Pink Floyd tributes since 2010.
His 'black strat' has been his main guitar since 1980.
Graeme
Piano, Organ & Synths
According to Graeme, he started his musical career learning the ukulele from around 4 years old. He soon discovered "that guitar type stuff" certainly wasn't for him.
From there he progressed to playing a little Bontempi Organ although "under mother's orders", he was ordered swiftly to play the piano.
Fast forward to 2005 and Graeme did his first stint in a Pink Floyd tribute. Now, nearly 20 years later he's still captivating audiences with his wonderful touch on the piano (thanks to his mum for that!) and a swirling Hammond that channels Rick Wright.
Brett
Bass & Vocals
Not only is Brett a fantastic Bass player, he's also a classically trained pianist! Oh, and he plays guitar and drums too!
This breadth of musicality helps Brett glue the show together with his dynamic and authentic playing that respects the style and influence of both Roger and Guy.
Kyle
Drums & Vocals
There was a time, about 20 years ago when Kyle and Calum were in competing bands in the Portmouth music scene. It's a bit special to have them working together in the Wall of Floyd.
Kyle is an outstanding drummer and is the backbone of the band.
Ray introduces Kyle as 'always on time, always in time'. He's not wrong!
Mike
Sax & Percussion
Mike is a force of nature who lights up any stage he performs on.
His sax playing is fluid and effortless and draws on what seems like more years of playing than he's been alive!
When he's not front and centre with the sax (and occasionally on vocals) Mike's adding his percussive magic.
